Skin Salt

Mulgundawa Skin Salt is a naturally evaporated solar salt which is washed, kiln dried and crushed to a fine particle size. It has clear to opaque white crystal with no odour or discolouration.

Sodium fluoride and boric acid is added to make up levels in the final product which act as preservatives and biocides. These biocides that act to preserve lamb and sheep skins as the first step in the skin treatment process. The product also has application in processing a range of most fine textured animal skins.

Mulgundawa Salt Skin Salt is available with the following additives:
1%BA / 1%SF
1.25%BA / 1.25%SF
1.5%BA / 1.5%SF
2%BA / 2%SF

Packaging

The salt is sold in 25kg bags and in 500kg or 1200kg bulker bags. The 25kg bags are clearly marked with the distinctive Mulgundawa Salt label.

The bags are sewn and stacked 1.2 tonne to the pallet. All pallets are capped and wrapped.
